Scrape Repair
The Process – Scrapes are long, indented scratches, typically caused by another force moving against it. To fix the bumper scrapes, we start by buffing and cleaning it. We’ll pull out any large indentations and/or fill it with a plastic filler if it’s a smaller indentation. Then, we sand and smooth it out to return the bumper to its original shape. The computer matched paint we use will get you the perfect color and is water based to help keep a clean environment. And just like that, your car is looking like new and ready to hit the road!
Dent Repair
The Process – A dent in your bumper is simply inverted and misshapen plastic. Most bumpers are made of plastic, which is flexible enough to bounce back to its original shape. We use special tools that will suction onto the dent and gently use heat to pull the dent back into its original form. The bumper’s bounce back might crack the paint but don’t worry, we will perfectly match your paint color through the use of our computer technology! And to be environmentally friendly, we use PPG, which is water based paint. In just a few short hours, we’ll have your car looking like new and ready to go.
Puncture Repair
The Process – A puncture in your bumper is a hollowed out area that still has remains of the bumper plastic attached, just folded over. It’s very similar to having a hole in your bumper, but we’ll have to cut off any edges that may be sticking out of the puncture. We’ll clean it from any dirt or debris before sanding it down. We’ll patch it up from behind with a strong adhesive backing or tape, like Bondo. Then, we’ll fill in the front with a plastic filler, like Epoxy. Once that dries, we’ll sand it down for a smooth surface. Our final step is computer match your paint to ensure the perfect color and use PPG paint, a water-based and environmentally friendly paint, to make your car look picture perfect.
Scuff Repair
The Process – Car scuffs and scratches, although similar to scrapes, consists of no indentations of the car exterior and only of the long, grazing marks. To fix this, we’ll buff and clean off the bumper. After sanding and smoothing out the surface, we’ll fill in any deep scratches with a plastic filler that matches your car material like Epoxy. Our last step is to computer match your paint to ensure it’s 100% perfect! We use PPG paint, which is water based and environmentally friendly. Soon enough, your car bumper will look like nothing happened!
Crack Repair
The Process – Cracks are small fractures or splits in the car exterior without any major breakage. As long as the cracks are strictly the exterior plastic, Bumper Buddies will fix it! First we clean the damaged area with a surface cleaner and smooth out the damage. We will then fill it with a plastic filler that will match your car’s exterior material. After the filler dries, we’ll sand it down and smooth it again before painting with PPG paint, which is water-based and environmentally friendly. Voila! Your car bumper is looking just like new again and no one would even know the crack was there.
Paint Repair
The Process – Not only do we use professional quality PPG paint products, we also use computer technology to ensure a 100% match to the color of your car
