Q: How quickly can you repair my vehicle?
A: On average, our dent repairs can be performed in 2-3 hours. More extensive damage may take longer, but we’ll never need to keep your car overnight or for days on end like traditional body shops.
Q: Are there any cars you can’t repair?
A: We don’t work on vehicles with chrome or steel bumpers, and we don’t repair classic cars. Contact us to verify whether your car’s make and model can be repaired.

Q: Can you come to my house?
A: Definitely! We can repair your vehicle at your home, office, or wherever else is most convenient. As a mobile bumper repair service, we come to you — wherever that may be.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Most of our bumper repair jobs cost $325-$375. We’ll provide an initial quote when you schedule your repair and provide pictures of the damage, so you’ll have an idea of how much you can expect to pay on the day of your bumper repair. There’s no deposit required, and all dent repair jobs come with a 3-year warranty.
Q: What forms of payment do you take?
A: We accept cash, credit, checks, and Venmo.

Q: Are you certified?
A: Bumper Buddies is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We’re registered with the Bureau of Automotive Repair, and we’re I-CAR certified.
Q: How are you able to work outdoors?
A: We use eco-friendly materials and practices wherever possible to ensure that our work is safe for the local area. All PPG paints we use have little to no VOC emissions, so they impact the local air quality very minimally. This makes them safer to use in public and residential areas, thereby being more conducive to our mobile repair business model. We also use less paint than competitors; whereas body shops use around 5 ounces of paint per repair, we use less than 5 ounces of paint per week. We also preserve used bumpers to use on future bumper repairs, minimizing waste whenever possible.
Q: How do you avoid overspray?
A: When our paint is sprayed onto a vehicle, the spray particles begin to dissipate past 7 feet into the air. This not only ensures even coverage and reduces overspray, but it also prevents any VOCs from going into the atmosphere.

Q: Can you repair leased vehicles?
A: Yes! We’ve repaired thousands of leased vehicles over the years, and we’ve never failed a lease inspection. We use computer-matched PPG paint that looks identical to the original, so your dealer won’t be able to tell that an accident ever occurred.
Q: Do you work on Teslas?
A: Yes. We’re fully certified to repair aluminum bumpers, so we can perform Tesla repairs to the same standard as Tesla-certified repair centers but at a fraction of the cost and without a negative impact on your Tesla’s vehicle history report.

Q: How good will it look when you’re finished?
A: After a Bumper Buddies dent repair, your car will look like it just rolled out of the factory. Thanks to our state-of-the-art PPG paint matching capabilities, we can perfectly match your original paint color using your car’s unique VIN. Our premier bumper repair coupled with seamless paint matching results in a like-new finish every time.
Q: Why is it more affordable than a body shop?
A: Since we’re a fully mobile business, we don’t have the same overhead costs as a body shop. Having less infrastructure and fewer expenses allows us to pass savings on to you while still offering the same, if not better, repair quality than a body shop.

Q: Is the price negotiable?
A: No, all prices are firm. However, we ensure that we always offer the most competitive rate possible while taking into account the cost of gas, tools, paint and other expenses. We also consider the technician’s time and experience to ensure they’re fairly compensated.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No. Bumper Buddies is a more convenient and affordable alternative to filing an insurance claim. When you choose Bumper Buddies, you’re receiving a high-quality dent repair at a reasonable cost with no hassle of filing a claim and no increased deductible.

Q: How do you match the paint color?
A: Vehicle paint colors are all assigned codes that tell technicians the exact color they are dealing with. These codes often have variants within them based on their shade and several other factors. Technicians can determine the code of a vehicle’s paint with the help of a computerized color match technology system. This is how technicians can find an exact color match for your bumper paint and apply it when making repairs. At Bumper Buddies, we use industry-leading PPG paint with computer color matching to guarantee a seamless finish.
